The incident took place in the 10 de Mayo neighborhood, on 25 de Septiembre street in the Otay Centenario district of Tijuana. This marks the second such occurrence of the day, following an earlier discovery in the Chilpancingo neighborhood, where a body was also abandoned with a message allegedly addressed to the same individual.

Passersby who came across the scene reported the body to the emergency hotline, prompting the arrival of various public security agencies, who cordoned off the area and await specialized teams to recover the body and conduct relevant investigations.
